2. Why we process it (legal bases, GDPR)
- Contract — to operate your account, publish and display your contributions, and deliver notifications you enable.
- Legitimate interests — to secure the Service (rate limiting, abuse prevention), to moderate content, and to measure aggregate usage via cookie-consented analytics.
- Consent — optional analytics cookies and email notifications beyond service-critical ones. You can withdraw consent at any time.
3. Cookies & analytics
Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect against CSRF. Optional analytics (Umami, cookie-consented, no cross-site tracking, no advertising profiles) measure page views and events in aggregate. Your choice is stored locally and can be changed by clearing this site's storage in your browser.
4. Sharing
- Hosting/infrastructure providers acting as processors (e.g. application hosting, database/media storage such as Cloudflare R2).
- Email delivery provider for transactional emails (verification, password reset, notifications you enabled).
- We do not sell personal data. Merchant sites you visit from deal links have their own privacy practices.
5. Retention
Account and Content data are kept while your account is active. Deleted content may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days. Security and audit logs are kept up to 12 months. Cancelled subscriptions and moderation records are retained for integrity purposes.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. EU/EEA under GDPR, California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
You can edit or delete most of your data directly in the app (profile, offers, comments, subscriptions, API keys). For anything else, email [email protected] — we respond within 30 days.
7. Security & international transfers
Passwords are hashed, sessions are httpOnly cookies, and all traffic runs over TLS. Your data may be processed in countries other than yours; where required we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).
